I had the prime rib and bake potato, didn’t know you charged extra for things you put in the baked potato, also the prime rib was cold, and the potato was cold, then they cut the ac unit on and made it even colder, the onion was good and hot, rest I will not return to Texas Steak house meal was not worth half the money we had to pay for it

I too have had similar issues as lisa. I have been a gold spurs member for several months, receive my monthly email certificate (thank you), gat my temp card email, but nothing else (shirt or official card). When I signed up you may have been having issues with the site because I could not get my picture to upload. Is there a way to fix these problems? Birthday is in 2 1/2 weeks and would really enjoy spending it in Texas.
It is pretty bad reading allllll these comments with bad experience! This is not a place i would ever want to eat at and ill make sure none of my family or friends do so!

My husband ordered the Marshall Dillon (17.99) which I thought came with two sides. My husband ordered the loaded bake potatoe, which we were not told it was 1.00 extra. He did not tell the waitress his other side and she did not ask. We didn’t think about it while ordering. His plate came and he had his loaded bake potatoe plus french fries which he didn’t ask for. We didn’t say anything because they were busy and we had somewhere to be. The check came and I paid it thinking thats was probably about right. Well when I got home and was looking at my reciept I saw where we were charged 2.29 for these fries we didn’t even order. I don’t understand the extra charge when the meal should have came with two sides anyway. If I had noticed this at the resturant I would have questioned it! Anyway just please have the waitress and waiters make sure they explain any extra cost, and I will make sure my order is understood at the next vist. We eat there with a family of four which can be a little on the expensive side but the food is good and the staff are very nice. Thanks Angela

I am reading all of thes negative comments which are quite surprising because my family and I go to Texas on a regualr basis and it is our favorite restaurant. The food is always great and the staff is always very friendly. Keep up the good work Texas!!!!!

We ate at the Texas Steakhouse tonight in Staunton, Va. I was told to follow the directions on the bottom of my receipt to fill out a Survey. I cannot find the survey site on the Computer, what is going on? I would like to take the survey, and we were all very satisfied with the meal.
My wife and I ate there on 4-30-10 with some friends. When my wife got her steak it had more fat then meat she could eat , our friends was the same. I got one of the burgers and it wasn’t what I thought it would be. I got the bill and though it was a little high for what we ordered. We were charged 1.00 for two strawberries for my wifes drink. So I thought I’d let ya know we wont be eating there again. Danny C.

Tried to find your survey and can not. I wanted to comment on your waitress at your store no.8057. Her name was Sharon and with out a doubt the best waitress i have ever had the pleasure of being searved by. Not only was she a good server but a good conversationalist. I think you need to go back to the drawing board for this survey thing. The first survey I did about six months ago went fine – I got the e-mail with the $5.00 discount . Since then, I’ve done surveys- never recieved the e-mail $5.00 rebate, then when I did the next one, OOPS!- ONLY 1 SURVEY A MONTH- but it still accepted the survey. The next time, no-mail coupon again, but after each survey I get an e-mail from the local store assistant manager thanking me for coming in and taking the survey. After the last one, I e-mailed him back that I never got the coupon. You know what he responded ?- ” It must be your e-mail in-box settings”. Then how did I get the first one and why do I get everbody else’s promo’s? Maybe you should stick with newspaper add inserts, because the survey thing -Ain’t Workin’.
Or you could do like Sticky Fingers ( we go there once a week or more) and do a $5.00 off survey via telephone (it always goes through) that gives you back a code and you get one with every check – no limit.
I’ve been in sales and marketing for 30+ years and believe me, frustrating the customers will eventually catch up to you.

I have tried repeatedly to take the survey and get $5 off my next purchase and there is no such thing anymore. The first time I did this was in May. Poor advertisement in my opinion. This will definitely affect my next visit to Texas Steakhouse.
